CoverRx is a statewide pharmacy assistance program that is designed to assist those who have no pharmacy coverage, but have a critical need for medication. CoverRx will provide participants affordable access to a covered drug list with approximately 250 medications, mostly generic, but including some name brands of insulin and of mental health medications.

CoverRx will pay for five prescriptions per month. Insulin and diabetic supplies are excluded from the prescription limit.

CoverRx is not health insurance and will not cover doctor's visits or hospitalizations. As CoverRx is not insurance, there are no monthly premiums. There are affordable copayments which will vary with income. Participants will be charged the lesser price of the pharmacy's price for a drug, the Usual & Customary price according to the pharmacy industry, or the copayments listed under the Benefits section of this website based on income.
